How many songs are in the library?
Over 2,000 songs from more than 200 artists, spanning all four K-pop generations — 1st gen through current 4th gen. New songs are added every month; the
blog documents which tracks were added and why.
Does Kpopless have BTS songs?
Yes. BTS have a substantial presence in the library across all eras. Solo releases from individual members — RM, Jin, Suga/Agust D, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — are also included.
Why can't I find a specific song in the search?
If a song doesn't appear in the autocomplete, it's not in the library yet. The most common reasons: Apple Music doesn't have a usable preview for it, the artist isn't in the library, or the song is very recent and hasn't been added yet. Use the
contact page to suggest it.
Are B-sides included or only title tracks?
Both. The library deliberately includes a mix of title tracks (the singles that got music videos) and B-sides (album tracks). B-sides are harder — they're for players who've listened beyond the main singles. Getting a B-side right on the first guess is one of the more satisfying things the game can do.
Does the library cover all four K-pop generations?
Yes. 1st gen acts (H.O.T, Sechs Kies, g.o.d, S.E.S, Fin.K.L), 2nd gen (BIGBANG, Girls' Generation, SHINee, 2NE1, f(x), BEAST, INFINITE), 3rd gen (BTS, EXO, TWICE, BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, NCT, GOT7), and current 4th gen (aespa, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER). Each generation has a distinct sound, which is part of what makes recognising era one of the key skills in the game.
