Songs without an available Apple Music preview are skipped by the algorithm. Newly added songs begin appearing in daily sets as soon as they're added to the library.
If a song you want to see isn't in the library yet, you can request it through the contact page or by messaging @kpopless on Twitter. Include the song title, artist name, and release year. Songs need to have an Apple Music preview to be eligible, most major and mid-tier releases do.
