Songs Added to Kpopless — July 2026

Published 15 July 2026 · Kpopless Blog

July's library update focuses on filling gaps in the 2nd and 3rd generation coverage — specifically the deeper catalogue tracks from groups that are well-represented by their title tracks but whose B-sides have been underrepresented in the daily rotation. There's also a dedicated batch of TVXQ/DBSK additions, which players have been requesting for a while.

In total, 38 songs were added to the Kpopless library this month across General mode and Artist-specific mode. Here's the full breakdown.

aespa

aespa additions this month lean into their more experimental b-side catalogue — the tracks that don't get the same radio play as "Next Level" or "Supernova" but that fans consider essential listens. Their 2023–2024 mini-albums in particular have some of the most distinctive production of any current 4th gen act.

TVXQ / DBSK

TVXQ are one of the most significant acts in 2nd gen K-pop and one of the most underrepresented in the original Kpopless library. The duo (after the 2010 split that saw JYJ depart) and original five-member lineup both have tracks in this batch. For players who grew up with early Korean Wave content, these should be very guessable. For younger players, they may be some of the harder tracks in the library.

Note on TVXQ difficulty: "Mirotic" is almost certainly one of the most recognisable 2nd gen tracks — most players who know K-pop at all will get it within 4 seconds. "Rising Sun" from 2005 is the opposite: the production sounds very dated to contemporary ears and even dedicated fans sometimes struggle to identify it from a cold start.

IVE

IVE had a strong year in 2023–2024 and their catalogue has expanded significantly beyond their early breakthrough tracks. These additions focus on the album cuts from I've IVE and IVE SWITCH that don't appear as daily picks.

BTOB

BTOB are a hugely popular 3rd gen boy group whose vocal-heavy ballad catalogue makes them interesting on Kpopless — their uptempo tracks are identifiable quickly but some of their slower tracks can fool players into thinking they're listening to a solo artist rather than a group. They're often a pleasant surprise for players who mainly know them from "Missing You" or "Only One for Me."

MAMAMOO solo additions

Alongside the group's existing tracks, solo work from MAMAMOO members is a natural fit for the library — their individual styles are distinctive enough that identifying "this is Hwasa vs Solar vs Moonbyul" from 4 seconds of audio is a genuine skill test. Three solo tracks were added this month.

Coming next month

August additions are being planned around requests from the community. Current candidates include more Stray Kids deep cuts, a first batch of solo work from BTS members (J-Hope and RM in particular), LOONA tracks from their active period, and the first entries from KARD, who are one of the most-requested missing acts. If you have a specific track or artist you'd like to see added, send a message via the contact page.
